Biography: I was born in Liaoning, China, and later moved to the UK with my family. I obtained my bachelor's degree from the University of Warwick. In my second year in Warwick, I completed a summer research project on the development of a novel synthesis of diazetidines under the supervision of Dr Stefan Roesner; in my final year, I undertook a three-month placement funded by the Turing Scheme at the Chalmers University of Technology, Sweden, working on the total synthesis of kinamycin F in Prof Nina Kann's research group. I joined the Procter Group in January 2024 to complete my MPhil degree.
