Biography: I was born and raised in Tianjin, China. In 2017, I started my undergraduate study in Tongji University in Shanghai. I joined Prof. Yanghui Zhang's group, and my final year project was palladium-catalyzed coupling reactions of halogenated aromatics and halogenated alkenes. I joined the Procter group as an MPhil student in 2023, focusing on photoactivation of sulfonium salt for sustainable metal-free cross coupling. In my free time, I sing in an acapella group, and I enjoy traveling, cooking and boxing.
