Biography: I grew up in Pompei in Southern Italy, and I obtained both my BSc and MSc from the University of Salerno. During my MSc, I have spent a semester at the University of Strasbourg (France), within the Erasmus+ programme. My master thesis concerned the development of asymmetric organocatalytic strategies for the synthesis of novel heterocyclic scaffolds, based on the isoxazol-5-one motif. In 2020, I joined the iCAT CDT-programme at the University of Manchester and, in June 2021, I started my doctoral studies in the Procter group. In my free time, I enjoy cooking and baking cakes. I love hiking and outdoor activities.
