Biography: I grew up in Wicklow, Ireland, and I have undertaken my undergraduate studies at Trinity College Dublin, working in the group of Prof. Stephen Connon. My final year project focused on a novel ring opening lactamisation of cyclic anhydrides. Since graduating, I have held research assistant positions in the groups of Prof. Martin Caffrey and Prof. Eoin Scanlan, both at Trinity College. In 2021, I joined the Procter group for my doctoral studies, investigating novel sulfonium salts-mediated cross coupling processes. In my free time, I enjoy playing and watching American Football and Basketball, as well as hiking.
