Biography: I was born and grew up in East Midnapore, India. I received a B.Sc. degree in Chemistry from Vidyasagar University, West Bengal (India), in 2011. After obtaining a Masters from the Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad in 2013, I joined the research group of Prof. S. S. V. Ramasastry at the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) Mohali as a Ph.D. student. I defended my Ph.D. thesis in 2019. Subsequently, I had moved to the USA as a postdoctoral research associate. After a short stay in the group of Prof. Michel R. Gagné, I joined the Procter group in 2021 as a Marie Curie fellow. My current research interest focuses on the development of Cu-catalyzed asymmetric tandem reactions. In my spare time, I enjoy cooking, watching cricket, and listening to music.
