Biography: I was born in Shandong, China. I obtained my bachelor of science with honours degree in chemistry at University of Melbourne, Australia. During my undergraduate study, I worked in the Rizzacasa lab on the total synthesis of Nargenicin natural products. Following graduation, I joined the Arndt lab at FSU Jena, Germany to work on the total synthesis of Sacchroquinoline and polyyne natural products. I joined the Procter group as a PhD student, working on the application of SmI2 catalysis in the synthesis of complex natural targets.
