Biography: I am originally from Palencia, Spain. I obtained my undergraduate degree at the University of Valladolid before moving to the Autonomous University of Madrid to pursue my Master's degree in Organic Chemistry. There, I carried out my Master's research project under the supervision of Prof. Mariola Tortosa. I then continued in Prof. Tortosa's group as a PhD student, where my research focuses on the enantioselective synthesis of benzene bioisosteres. I am currently a visiting PhD student in the Procter group at the University of Manchester, where I am working on the application of alkoxysulfonium salts in organic synthesis. In my free time, I enjoy painting and doing CrossFit
