Biography: I was born in West Bengal, India. I completed my BS-MS in Chemistry from the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Mohali in 2021. At IISER, I joined Prof. R. Vijaya Anand’s lab to work on pentafluorobenzoic acid catalysed 1,6-conjugate addition of indoles to p-quinone methides. Later, I joined the lab of Prof. Jia Niu at Boston College, USA to develop precision cellulose from living cationic polymerization of glucose 1,2,4-orthopivalates. I graduated with MS from Boston College in 2025. Later, I joined a startup company named ZwitterCo in Boston as an associate scientist in polymer chemistry. I joined the Procter group in October 2026 as a PhD student working on enzymatic manipulations of sulfur heteroaromatic compounds. In my free time, I enjoy cooking, travelling, and I have an interest in geopolitics
