Prizes: Outstanding Flash/Poster award from Chemical Science at the XV “Marcial Moreno Mañas” International School of Organometallic Chemistry Conference, 2024, Alicante.
Biography: I was born in Cerdanyola del Vallès (Barcelona), where I have developed my academic career as well. I completed my bachelors in chemistry and my masters at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, where I carried out my first steps of experimental research in the CatSyNanoMat group, where I worked on organofluorine chemistry and photoredox catalysis. Thereafter, I continued in the group, enrolling a PhD program under the supervision of Prof Adelina Vallribera and Dr Carolina Gimbert, focused on the development of new synthetic methodologies and materials involving light and organofluorine chemistry.
Recently, I joined the Procter group for a short-term stay to expand my knowledge about sulfonium salts, photochemistry and radical processes. Aside from the lab I have been a musician since my youth, mainly playing the trumpet. I also enjoy playing video games, watching football and going to the gym.
